Supreme Tattoos China No. 2, by Wu Shang (Supremacy)
The book contains 85 high quality sheets with protective deities’ masks, wise men, animals and much more, including a portrait of John Galiano.
This is an extract of the Preface of this book written by Chinese tattoo artist Wu Shang (Supremacy) in March 1st, 2011:
Chinese traditional painting –as a kind of art embodying national spirit in China- has been appreciated by more than 90 percent people. (…)
Our minds and wills have been cultivated by profound national culture, historic sites and poetry. To pursue the realm of the ancients, it is necessary to “know the ancient and modern world”, then thoroughly “understand the ancient and modern world culture” and travel around the world. To get great achievements, we should melt its fertilizer first. Supremacy No. 2 is the work of our experience.
Thank you for enlightening remarks and brilliant views.
